We are saved by Works!!

I heard an interesting message by Donald Whitney and he pointed out something about justification that I had never thought of and that is that we are saved by works...

He went on to say that it just wasn't our works we are saved by. We are saved by Christ's works. Christ is how I have a right standing with God. It is a works righteousness, but it's not my works! We are saved or declared righteous by Christ's works, Christ's merits, Christ's beauty, Christ's virtue, Christ's goodness...and Christ alone! His righteousness is the ground of our right standing before God! It truly is in Christ alone!
